Earlier today, The Wife forwarded me an email from the Brooklyn Cyclones. They send out regular newsletters announcing promotions, ticket deals, etc. Their latest one touted their annual Jewish heritage night, which will feature the Cyclones taking field in uniforms that spell CYCLONES in Hebrew (minus the vowels, of course).
That's a neat way to honor a major ethnic group. But I question what they placed next to their Jewish Heritage Night announcement. It's...well, take a look.
"Calling all bankers and accountants", right next to "Jewish Heritage Night"?! Innocent juxtaposition, or not-so-subtle stereotyping? You make the call!
